1. Introduction
Silent Reminder respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
If you create an account we store your full name, email address, gender, date of birth and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form). Reminders you create (category, title, description and date) are stored on our server so they sync to your account. If you use the app as a guest, nothing is sent to our server.
3. How we use it
Your information is used only to run the app: signing you in, showing your profile and your reminders, and scheduling notifications on your device. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Permissions
The app asks for notification permission (and may use vibration) so that reminders can alert you at the right time. These permissions are used for nothing else.
5. Third-party services
Silent Reminder does not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services. Your data is stored in a managed database used only to provide the app.
6. Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Others → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your account and all of your reminders from our server.
7. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and passwords are hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
